History:

The Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple is one of Bali’s nine key directional temples and is located on a steep cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. The temple dates back to the 10th century and is dedicated to the spirits of the sea.

How to Get There:

The temple is located in Pecatu Village, South Kuta, Badung Regency, approximately 40 minutes from Denpasar. Visitors can hire a taxi or rent a scooter to get to the temple.
