History

Pura Kehen is a beautiful Hindu temple located in the foothills of Mount Agung in Bali, Indonesia. The temple dates back to the 11th century and is dedicated to the Hindu god of fire, Brahma. It is one of the oldest and most important temples in Bali and is known for its intricate stone carvings and stunning architecture.

How to Get There

Pura Kehen is located in the town of Bangli, which is about a 1.5-hour drive from Ubud. Visitors can easily hire a taxi or rent a scooter to reach the temple. The temple is open daily from 9am to 5pm and entrance fee is required.

Ticket Information

Entrance fee to Pura Kehen is 15,000 IDR for adults and 7,500 IDR for children. A sarong and sash must be worn when entering the temple, which can be rented at the entrance for a small fee.
