Craigievar Castle is a pink-hued fairytale-like castle located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It was built in the early 17th century by William Forbes, the 6th Laird of Craigievar, and has remained in the Forbes family for over 350 years. The castle is a fine example of Scottish Baronial architecture and is known for its impressive turrets and ornate woodwork.
Craigievar Castle is located about 15 miles west of Aberdeen. Visitors can reach the castle by car or bus. There is also a train station in Aberdeen for those traveling by rail.
Adult tickets for Craigievar Castle cost £10, while children under 16 can enter for free. Concession tickets are also available for £8. Tickets can be purchased online or at the castle entrance.
