History

Linlithgow Palace is a stunning royal palace located in West Lothian, Scotland. It was originally built in the 15th century and served as the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots. The palace was a favorite residence of the Stewart kings and queens and was eventually abandoned after a fire in the 18th century.
