Christiansborg Palace is the seat of the Danish parliament, the supreme court, and the prime minister’s office. It is located on the small island of Slotsholmen in the heart of Copenhagen. The palace was built in the 18th century to replace an earlier castle that had been destroyed by fire. It has been the seat of the Danish government since 1794. The palace is a beautiful example of Baroque architecture, with its ornate facade and grandiose interior. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Copenhagen and is well worth a visit.
