The Amber Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is a stunning example of Rajput and Mughal architecture. It was built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh I and has served as the residence of the Rajput Maharajas. The palace is made of red sandstone and marble, with intricate carvings and beautiful courtyards.
The Amber Palace is located about 11 kilometers outside of Jaipur city. Visitors can take a taxi, auto-rickshaw, or bus to reach the palace. It is also possible to hire a private car for a more comfortable and convenient journey.
Entry to the Amber Palace is INR 100 for Indian nationals and INR 500 for foreign tourists. There is an additional fee for hiring a guide to learn more about the history and architecture of the palace.
