Olympos Ancient City is a fascinating destination in Turkey, offering a blend of historical significance and natural beauty. Situated near Cirali in Kumluca, it is approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Antalya. The city’s origins trace back to the 3rd century BCE, and it was an important member of the Lycian League. Over time, it came under Roman influence and later embraced Christianity.

Getting to Olympos

To reach Olympos, you can drive along the D400 highway, which provides picturesque views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Taurus Mountains. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Antalya heading towards Kumluca or KaÅŸ and switch to a dolmuÅŸ or taxi at the Olympos junction.
