Spanning nearly 20 percent of Aruba’s land area, Arikok National Park is a haven for unique flora, fauna, and stunning geological formations. This park, charting the diverse and fascinating landscape of Aruba from its rugged coastline to its highest peak, provides a deeper understanding of the island’s natural beauty and heritage.
Established in 2000, Arikok National Park aims to conserve Aruba’s natural heritage, historical sites, and culture. It comprises three former separate island conservation regions: Arikok hill, Jamanota hill, and the coastal region of Rooi Prins.
The Park’s visitor center is located approximately 8km from Oranjestad on Route 7. You can reach the park by car, by local bus to Santa Cruz followed by a taxi, or as part of an organized tour.
Entrance to the park costs $11 for tourists above 17 years. Children aged 17 and younger and local residents can enter free of charge.
