The Brihadeeswara Temple, also known as the Big Temple, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Tanjavur, Tamil Nadu. Built in the 11th century by the Chola dynasty, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the largest temples in India.
To reach the Brihadeeswara Temple, travelers can fly into Trichy International Airport and then take a taxi or bus to Tanjavur. The temple is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible by public transportation.
