Burren National Park, located in County Clare, Ireland, is renowned for its distinctive karst landscape and rich biodiversity. Established in 1991, the park is managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service and boasts a history of human habitation dating back to the Neolithic period, approximately 33,000 years ago.
Visitors can reach Burren National Park by traveling to the village of Corofin, where the park’s Information Point is situated. During the summer months, a complimentary shuttle bus service operates from Corofin to the park’s trailhead. Alternatively, visitors can drive to the park using the R476 and L1112 roads.
Entry to Burren National Park is free. However, guided tours may require advance booking.
