The California Lighthouse in Aruba was built in 1910 and was named after the steamship California, which sunk nearby in 1891. The lighthouse was originally used to warn ships of the treacherous rocky shores of Aruba.
The California Lighthouse is located on the northwestern tip of Aruba, near the Tierra del Sol Resort. Visitors can reach the lighthouse by car or taxi, or by taking a guided tour.

Admission to the California Lighthouse is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased on site or online in advance.
