The Hawa Mahal, also known as the “”Palace of Winds,”” is a beautiful palace located in Jaipur, India. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and was designed by Lal Chand Ustad. The palace was built for the royal women to observe everyday life and festivals on the streets without being seen.
The Hawa Mahal is located in the heart of Jaipur city, which is easily accessible by car, taxi, or public transportation. The nearest airport is Jaipur International Airport, which is approximately 13 km away from the palace.
Entry to the Hawa Mahal is included in the composite ticket for Jaipur’s major attractions, which costs INR 50 for Indian nationals and INR 200 for foreign tourists. The palace is open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm every day.
