Alternatively, you can begin your journey from The Hermitage Hotel by taking the Kea Point Track and diverting towards Hooker Valley, adding about 20 minutes each way to your hike.
No ticket is required to access the Hooker Valley Track. However, it is advisable to check with the Department of Conservation for any updates on track conditions before your visit.
