• Bicycle: Rent a bike in Taupo and start at the Taupo i-SITE Visitor Information Centre. Cycle west along Tongariro Street, turning into Spa Road, for about 1.5 km. Turn left onto Wairakei Drive and continue for about 3 km. Bike paths are available along this route. Lock your bike at the car park and take the short walking tracks to the falls.
