History

Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory located in New Delhi, India. It was built in the early 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur. The observatory consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments that were used to predict the movement of celestial bodies.

Jantar Mantar is located in the heart of New Delhi, near Connaught Place. Visitors can easily reach the observatory by taking a taxi, auto-rickshaw, or using public transportation.
