History

The Tristaina Lakes have been a popular hiking destination for years. Located near the Ordino-Arcalis ski resort in the Pyrenees mountains, the area offers a serene environment perfect for relaxation and exploration.

How to Get There

To reach Lagos de Tristania, start by heading to the Ordino-Arcalis ski resort. From there, follow the signs to the Coma services car park, which is the starting point for the Tristaina Lake trail. • Arcalís 91 Monument: A spectacular steel ring created by sculptor Mauro Staccioli, symbolizing the symbiosis between natural and geometric laws.
  • Alpine Flora and Fauna: The area is home to typical alpine dwelling species like Androsace carnea (Rock Jasmine) and fauna such as Percheron horses and stoats.
  • Sundial Balcony: A 25-meter sundial added in 2022, offering 360-degree views of Andorra and France.
