The Nelson Monument is a commemorative tower in Edinburgh, Scotland, dedicated to Admiral Lord Nelson. It was built between 1807 and 1815 to commemorate Nelson’s victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
The Nelson Monument is located on Calton Hill in Edinburgh. Visitors can easily reach Calton Hill by walking from the city center or taking a bus to the nearby bus stop. The monument is a short walk up the hill from the main road.
Entrance to the Nelson Monument is free for visitors. However, there is a small fee for access to the viewing platform at the top of the tower.
