Los Naranjos Ecological Park is a fantastic spot for those who love nature and archaeology. How to Get There

Getting to Los Naranjos Ecological Park is relatively straightforward. You can hop on a minibus from La Guama or Peña Blanca to El Jaral on Highway 54. From there, it’s a short walk to the main road leading to the park. Alternatively, tourist shuttles or buses are available from La Ceiba, San Pedro Sula, Copan Ruinas, or even Nicaragua. Once you arrive in Los Naranjos town, you can either walk to the park or catch a local tuk-tuk or taxi.

Trails and Boardwalks: The park boasts 6 kilometers of stone paths and dirt trails, including a kilometer of raised boardwalks over the marshland. These paths are perfect for bird-watching and offer stunning views of Lake Yojoa and Cerro-Azul Meambar National Park.
Hanging Bridge: Adding to the park’s charm is a hanging bridge that’s part of the trail system.
