Mount Roraima, located in South America on the border of Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana, is one of the oldest geological formations on Earth, dating back over two billion years. It is considered a sacred site by the indigenous people who live in the surrounding areas.
The most common way to reach Mount Roraima is by flying into the nearest airport in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela, and then taking a combination of buses and hikes to reach the base of the mountain.
There is no entrance fee required to visit Mount Roraima, but visitors are encouraged to hire a local guide for safety reasons and to support the local economy.
