The San Nicolas Art Murals, beautifully adorning the streets of San Nicolas in Aruba, add a vibrant splash of color to this historic town. These large-scale artworks showcase the local culture, history, and community spirit, making the town a fantastic open-air gallery for art lovers and photographers.
Initiated in 2016 by Aruba Art Fair, the project aimed at revitalizing San Nicolas through art. Renowned local and international artists have since turned the town walls into a creative spectacle, celebrating the town’s unique heritage and cultural vibrancy.
San Nicolas is located at the southern end of Aruba, and can be reached by car or public transportation from Oranjestad. One can easily explore the artwork on foot or by renting a bicycle once in San Nicolas.
There’s no admission fee to view the San Nicolas Art Murals. However, there might be a separate cost for guided tours that can vary, so it’s advisable to inquire in advance.
