Srebarna Nature Reserve is located in northeastern Bulgaria, near the town of Silistra. It was established in 1948 to protect the unique ecosystem of the Srebarna Lake and its surrounding wetlands. The reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to a wide variety of bird species, including many endangered and rare species.
The easiest way to reach Srebarna Nature Reserve is by car. The reserve is located about 16 kilometers from the town of Silistra, which can be reached by bus or train from major cities like Sofia and Varna. Once in Silistra, you can take a taxi or rent a car to reach the reserve.
