History

The Glasgow Necropolis is a Victorian cemetery located on a hill above Glasgow Cathedral. It was established in 1832 and is home to over 50,000 graves. The cemetery was designed to resemble a miniature version of Père Lachaise in Paris and is a popular tourist destination for those interested in Victorian architecture and history.

How to Get There

The Glasgow Necropolis is located in the city center of Glasgow, making it easily accessible by public transportation. Ticket Information
