Trummelbach Falls are tucked inside a mountain, with water rushing down from the glaciers of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. It’s a jaw-dropping sight, with up to 20,000 liters of water pouring through every second, making it one of Europe’s most remarkable waterfalls.
You can drive or hop on a bus to reach Trummelbach Falls. The bus runs every half hour and takes about 10 minutes from Lauterbrunnen or Stechelberg. A bus ticket is 4.4 Swiss francs and is covered by the Swiss Travel Pass. Alternatively, catch a train from Interlaken Ost Station to Lauterbrunnen, then take bus 141, which takes around 20 minutes to get to the falls.
– Opening Times: Open daily from April to November, 9 AM to 5 PM, and from 8:30 AM to 6 PM in July and August.
– Ticket Prices: Entry is 14 Swiss francs for adults and 6 Swiss francs for kids. Tickets are sold on-site and can be paid in cash or by credit card.
