Wadi Bin Hammad, also known as Wadi Al Karak, is an exceptional natural treasure in Jordan. Known for its lush greenery, warm thermal water, and stunning geological formations, the valley offers an unmissable experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Wadi Bin Hammad is a striking result of geological processes over centuries, with the warm thermal water contributing to the unique bio-environment of the region. Historically, the place was used for therapeutic purposes due to the warm sulfuric water, and it remains a popular destination for both its historical significance and natural beauty.
The valley is situated near Karak city, about 140 kilometers south of Amman, Jordan’s capital. Visitors typically rent a car or get a taxi from Karak city, which is an hour’s drive away.
There is an entry fee of around 5 JOD (Jordanian Dinar) to access Wadi Bin Hammad. Note that prices may vary, and there may be additional costs for hiring local guides for the trek.
