Wilpena Pound is situated in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, about 400 kilometers north of Adelaide. The closest town is Hawker, approximately 12 kilometers away. You can drive to Hawker via the A32 highway from Adelaide and then follow the signs to the Wilpena Pound Visitor Information Centre.
To access the Flinders Ranges National Park, a National Park Pass is required. A Daily Park Pass costs $11 per vehicle and can be purchased at the Wilpena Pound Visitor’s Centre.
