Do try Ackee and saltfish. The countries national dish must be tried by anyone who is visiting the island of Jamaica. It is made with the local fruit called Ackee, which looks like scrambled eggs, but has a unique taste of its own, and dried codfish mixed with
onions and tomatoes.

Don’t forget to use caution when walking around downtown Montego Bay at night.
The downtown area is very crowded during the day and can be unsafe for
the tourists after dark. Act responsibly and take care of you and your
belongings.

lay on the beach? Take this opportunity and explore the amazing island

known as ganja) is synonymous with Jamaica but has been illegal for many
years. It is true that it was decriminalized in 2015. Now, having up to

around $5 instead of an arrest and/or a criminal charge. Nevertheless,
