The Biertan Fortified Church is a must-see for any history lover visiting Romania. This Church is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the best-preserved fortified churches in the country. The Church was built in the 15th century and was used as a defensive structure against Ottoman invaders. Visitors can explore the Church and its grounds, and learn about its history.
