Lake Titicaca is the largest lake in South America, lying on the border between Bolivia and Peru. The lake is also a home to the Uru, indigenous people of Peru and Bolivia that live on 120 self-fashioned floating islands on the lake. Some of the islands have a homestay, where you can spend a night in the company of the locals and get to know their traditional way of living.
