Fountain of Wealth Singapore is a must-see spot for anyone checking out the lively city-state. Nestled in the center of Suntec City, one of Singapore’s biggest malls, this fountain is not just an architectural wonder but also a symbol of prosperity and unity. Back in 1998, it was named the world’s largest fountain by the Guinness Book of World Records. Its design, inspired by the Hindu Mandala, stands for harmony and inclusiveness.
The idea for the fountain came about in the early 1990s as part of Suntec City’s development. Designed by Moshe Safdie, it beautifully combines art and spirituality. Built in 1995 from silicon bronze, it features a circular ring held up by four columns. The inward flow of water symbolizes wealth and life, representing prosperity.
To visit the Fountain of Wealth, take the MRT to Esplanade Station (Exit A) or Promenade Station (Exit C). You can also get there by bus or taxi directly to Suntec City at 3 Temasek Blvd.
There’s no charge to visit the Fountain of Wealth. It’s free to explore and join in the Daily Touch Water Sessions.
