Neiraku Art Museum is a special spot tucked away in Isuien Garden, Nara, where nature and culture come together beautifully. Here’s a quick guide to make the most of your trip:
The Neiraku Art Museum was established in 1940 by Nakamura Junsaku to showcase his vast collection of art. It was part of a broader initiative to open up Isuien Garden to the public.
You’ll find the Neiraku Art Museum at 74 Suimon-cho, Nara City. It’s a 15-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, just west of Todaiji Temple. Alternatively, you can catch a bus from JR Nara Station to the Kencho-higashi bus stop.
Your ticket covers both the garden and museum. Prices are: adults 1,200 yen, university and high school students 500 yen, junior high and elementary students 300 yen, persons with disabilities 500 yen (one companion free), and group discounts for 15 or more at 1,000 yen.
