Rozhen Monastery is a medieval Eastern Orthodox monastery,located in the Pirin Mountain of Bulgaria. It was founded in the 13th century and has a rich history of religious significance and architectural beauty.
Rozhen Monastery is located near the town of Melnik in Southwestern Bulgaria. Visitors can reach the monastery by car or bus from Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria. The monastery is about a 3-hour drive from Sofia.
Entrance to Rozhen Monastery is free, but donations are appreciated to help with the upkeep and preservation of the historic site.
