The Starigrad Fortress, located in the city of Hvar, Croatia, dates back to the 13th century and was built to protect the city from intruders. It has since become a popular tourist attraction due to its stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding landscapes.
To reach the Starigrad Fortress, visitors can take a ferry from the mainland to the island of Hvar. From there, it is a short walk uphill to the fortress. Alternatively, taxis and buses are available for those who prefer not to walk.
Entrance to the Starigrad Fortress is included in the price of admission to the Hvar Historical Museum, which is located nearby. The museum ticket costs $10 for adults and $5 for children.
