Towers of Pavia (Torri di Pavia)

History

The towers were constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries by the city’s noble families, as symbols of their status and power. How to get there

Pavia is located in the Lombardy region in Northern Italy. It is easily reachable from Milan by train, with a journey time of about 30 minutes. By car, it’s a 45-minute drive south of Milan. Once in Pavia, the city center and the towers can be easily accessed by foot or local buses.
