Dubrovnik was awesome! It’s such a beautiful city and it’s very well preserved. We of course came because it’s the official filming location for Kings Landing in Game of Thrones. There are multiple Game of Thrones tours you can take. We did ours through Elite Travel and our tour guide was great. I would recommend this for any Game of Thrones fan for sure. With this tour you not only see the filming locations but you really hit every location within the “old city” including the Lovrijenac Fortress and the city walls as well.
Dubrovnik has had some great food especially the seafood. If you ever visit and have time I would recommend taking a trip to Ston and view the second longest wall in the world and eat the freshest/best oysters you will ever have.
Back in Dubrovnik, a stroll down the main street is a must but I would recommend shopping and eating off this street as the prices will be a lot cheaper.
Another must is taking the cable car up to the top of the mountain. Here you can catch some breathtaking views of the city. There is also a good place to eat and a dune buggy tour you can take (which we did). Prepare to get really dirty if you decide to ride the buggies though!
