History

Jog Falls, also known as Gersoppa Falls, is located in the Shimoga district of Karnataka, India. It is the second-highest plunge waterfall in India, with a height of 830 feet. The waterfall is formed by the Sharavathi River falling from a rocky cliff in four distinct cascades – Raja, Rani, Roarer, and Rocket.
