Ledenika Cave is located in the northwestern part of Bulgaria, near the town of Vratsa. The cave was formed over thousands of years by the underground river that flows through it. It has been open to the public since 1961 and is a popular tourist attraction in the region.
The easiest way to reach Ledenika Cave is by car. It is about a two-hour drive from the capital city of Sofia. There are also buses that run from Vratsa to the cave, but they are less frequent.
Entrance to Ledenika Cave is 5 euros for adults and 2 euros for children. Guided tours are available for an additional fee.
