The Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti, Romania, was established in 2005 by an NGO called AMP as a sanctuary for rescued brown bears. It provides a natural environment for these bears to live in after being rescued from captivity or abusive situations.

How to Get There

Zarnesti is located in the Transylvania region of Romania. The easiest way to reach the Bear Sanctuary is by car from Brasov, which is about 30 minutes away. You can also take a bus from Brasov to Zarnesti and then a taxi to the sanctuary.

Ticket Information
