History

Tirta Empul is a Hindu Balinese water temple located near the town of Tampaksiring in Bali, Indonesia. The temple was founded in 962 AD during the Warmadewa dynasty and is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu god of water.

How to Get There

To get to Tirta Empul, you can take a taxi or hire a driver from Ubud or Denpasar. The temple is about a 30-minute drive from Ubud and an hour from Denpasar. You can also join a guided tour that includes a visit to Tirta Empul.

Ticket Information
