Akbar’s Tomb, located in Sikandra, Agra, is the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The tomb was built in the 17th century and is known for its stunning architecture that blends Persian, Indian, and Islamic design elements.
Akbar’s Tomb is easily accessible by car, taxi, or rickshaw from the city of Agra. It is located about 8 kilometers away from the Taj Mahal and can be reached in about 30 minutes.
Entry to Akbar’s Tomb is free for Indian citizens. Foreign tourists must pay an entry fee of INR 200. There is an additional fee for photography.
