UNESCO has designated Delphi as a World Heritage Site. The ancients considered this location to be sacred and came here on pilgrimages to worship Apollo. It was built on the lower slopes of Mount Parnassus and overlooks a stunning ravine. It consists of various crumbling temple ruins, a theater, and a stadium that date from the 8th century BC to the 2nd century AD.
