For independent writers

Write for Us — Travel & Lifestyle Guest Post Submissions

Bazar Travels publishes pieces from independent travel writers, destination experts, and lifestyle voices who report from the places they know best. We’re looking for original writing with a point of view — not roundups, not press releases, not paragraphs an AI could have produced. A byline here lands in front of an audience that’s actively planning trips and saving places, not passively scrolling.

Topics we accept — and topics we don’t

Topics we accept

  • Regional travel guides (a place, a coastline, a city neighbourhood)
  • Slow travel, train travel, road trips, multi-week itineraries
  • Food + culture stories — markets, regional cuisines, food trails
  • Sustainable and responsible travel
  • Solo, women-led, and family travel with a clear point of view
  • Lifestyle pieces that lean into travel (packing, gear, language, work-on-the-road)

Topics we don’t

  • Crypto, casino, gambling, adult, pharma
  • Generic SEO listicles (“Top 10 things to do in...” with no original reporting)
  • AI-generated or AI-rewritten drafts
  • Press releases, brand puffery, or pieces that read like product ads
  • Content already published anywhere else — including your own blog

Editorial guidelines

  • 100% original content. We run plagiarism + AI-detection checks before publishing.
  • Article and any external backlinks must be travel-related and useful to the reader.
  • Maximum of 2 do-follow links per post (your byline link counts as the third — see below).
  • Reads as informational, not promotional or advertisement-style.
  • No obscene, offensive, or discriminatory language.
  • Cannot be published on any other website, now or later — exclusivity is permanent.
  • 800–2,000 words is the sweet spot. Shorter pieces need a sharper angle; longer pieces need real depth.
  • Bring your own photos with permission to publish, or note the Creative Commons / public-domain source.

What you get back

  • 2 do-follow contextual backlinks within the article (subject to relevance review).
  • Permanent URL at the root of bazartravels.com — no /blog or /guest-posts subfolder.
