Five years ago, a group of mavericks stumbled upon the unused Kingly Court Underground Station in Soho, London. Formerly a war-time air raid shelter, it was filled with a mishmash of artifacts from old toys to tinned food, which they used to transform the place into a cozy retreat. These rebels revived the spirited atmosphere of the post-war era, using this secret haven for elaborate late-night parties, selling high-quality covert cocktails, and disregarding the norms of rationing.
