The Stanislav Dospevski House Museum is the only museum in Bulgaria dedicated to a Renaissance artist. Dospevski was one of the first Bulgarian artists and icon painters with an academic education. He became the founder of secular portrait painting in the second half of the 19th century. The Regional Museum of History showcases artifacts and exhibits that highlight the rich history and culture of the region.
