Fortress Hohensalzburg is a historic fortress that overlooks the city of Salzburg. It was built in the 11th century and is one of the largest and best-preserved fortresses in Europe. Visitors can take a funicular to the top of the fortress to enjoy stunning views of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains.
