Nubeluz is perched on the 50th floor of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, and offers an unforgettable rooftop bar experience. Crafted by the famous chef José Andrés, this spot provides stunning 270-degree views of the New York City skyline. It’s a must-visit for anyone wanting a stylish night out.
To get to Nubeluz, guests should start by checking in with a host in the lobby. Reservations are highly recommended, so it’s best to book ahead. After checking in, an elevator whisks guests up to the 50th floor in seconds. Upon arrival, another host greets them, and the breathtaking view is immediately apparent.
At 500 feet above the ground, Nubeluz offers clear views of everything south of 28th Street. Guests can spot iconic landmarks like the Flatiron Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State Building from the eastern terrace. The western terrace provides views of Times Square and Hudson Yards. It’s worth noting that these outdoor spaces might not be ideal for those with a fear of heights.
Nubeluz is designed to feel both glamorous and carefree. The U-shaped onyx bar glows with a warm golden hue, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying a classic cocktail or one of José Andrés’ modern twists. The design aims to give the impression of floating on a cloud, fitting for its sky-high location.
To keep the sophisticated vibe, Nubeluz asks guests to dress in cocktail-appropriate attire. This means no athletic wear, t-shirts, baseball hats, flip flops, large logos, or overly distressed or revealing clothing. Guests not adhering to these guidelines might be asked to change or return later.
Nubeluz is famous for its creative cocktails and small bites. The menu offers modern takes on classic cocktails, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Drinks can be paired with chef-driven light bites that showcase José Andrés’ signature Spanish flair. Whether celebrating a special occasion or just seeking a high-end NYC experience, Nubeluz delivers.
Intimate Gatherings and Large Events: Nubeluz is ideal for both small gatherings and large events, accommodating up to 150 guests for elevated gatherings and cocktail receptions. Full buyouts include access to both terraces and pre-selected beverages and food from their events menus. Partial buyouts offer a semi-private experience on either the East or West side of Nubeluz, while large groups can enjoy a dedicated section with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic skyline views. For smaller groups, you can order from their regular menu with a $100 per guest minimum for a two-hour experience.
On Saturdays and Sundays, Nubeluz offers High Tea from 11 AM to 3 PM. This quintessential tea experience is sure to leave an impression long after your final sips.
