Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, is a must-visit for any racing enthusiast. This high-banked superspeedway has been the hub for thrilling NASCAR and IndyCar events, offering an unparalleled experience for fans.

History

The track was first announced in November 1994 by Bruton Smith’s Speedway Motorsports, Inc. Groundbreaking began in April 1995, with major construction completed by February 1996. The facility has undergone continuous improvements, including the installation of the world’s largest HD video screen, nicknamed ‘Big Hoss,’ which debuted during the 2014 season. The speedway has also seen significant events, such as a lawsuit that led to securing a second NASCAR date, which was transferred from North Carolina Motor Speedway in 2005.
