It seems like there is a castle on every large hill in Germany overlooking the valleys. There’s no shortage of them that is for sure. The best area to see these majestic castles is Bavaria and but if you want you can do the whole “romantic road” which is a 220 mile stretch of road starting in Wurzburg and stretches down to Fussen.
