Angle is a Michelin-starred modern cuisine restaurant housed in Hotel Cram (Eixample, Barcelona). Overseen by famed chef Jordi Cruz and led in kitchen execution by Elena Cerezo, Angle focuses on creative, balanced tasting menus that pay homage to Catalan and seasonal ingredients.
With a tasting menu format, you’ll sample multiple courses, but standout moments often include seafood dishes (e.g. Galician hake with aromas and layered textures) and refined meat courses. Be sure to leave space for the dessert sequence—many guests highlight the sweet courses as highlights.
The dining room is elegant yet intimate, with soft lighting, quality materials, and attention to ambiance. Before your meal, you may be invited to enjoy aperitifs or bites in the foyer or bar area. The transition from bar to dining room is part of the experience.
This is a high-end experience. The tasting menu runs ~€185 per person. Wine pairings and premium ingredients will increase the total. It’s in the top tier of fine dining in Barcelona.
Ask for the dishes with seafood if you favor lighter courses. Be open to surprises—the chef often includes clever signature touches. Try to book a table in the slightly later sitting to allow the space to settle and the ambiance to feel at its best, and enjoy the pacing—each course is designed to build the narrative of the meal.
