History
The original Fishing Bridge was built in 1902. It was named for its popularity as a fishing spot at the time. This bridge played a key role in Yellowstone’s automobile history and was replaced in 1937 with the current structure. It is now designated as a National Historic Place. Fishing activity, however, is no longer permitted to protect the native cutthroat trout.
How to Get There
Fishing Bridge is located near the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA. Visitors can reach the location by car from the east via Cody, Wyoming, through the Shoshone National Forest. Public transportation within the park is not available, so it is recommended to rent a car or join a tour.

Ticket Information
Entrance to Yellowstone National Park requires a fee which is valid for seven days. As of 2021, it is $35 per vehicle, $30 per motorcycle, or $20 per pedestrian or cyclist. An annual pass is available for $70. Entrance to Fishing Bridge is included in this fee.
