History of Grand Bazaar

Established in 1461 by Sultan Mehmed II, the Grand Bazaar began as a warehouse and gradually transformed into a significant commercial center of the Ottoman Empire. The bazaar has long been a hub for trade and culture, offering a variety of goods ranging from carpets and jewelry to antiques and souvenirs.
